So much has already happened, this year, it's difficult to know where to begin!

This year started off with another incredible journey to Haiti.  Nicole was determined to do something good, for the children of the country, and I'm not going to give up on her dream!  We were joined by several other non-profits (The Eddie Pope Foundation, Soccer in the Streets, The Haiti Initiative and Design Across Borders) who have all come together to establish the La Croix Youth Initiative.  We have big plans & big dreams for the children of La Croix... stayed tuned for more!  Here's a few of the photos, but you can see ALL of them on our facebook page!

We've already had several fantastic fundraisers - Potomac Falls High School hosted their annual "Dodgeball for Nicole" tournament to help raise funds for future scholarship recipients.  Every year, the Miami Copa Latina tournament has an All-Star game which is played in Nicole's memory.  This year the all-stars played the NASL Fort Lauderdale Strikers - lots of excitement!  The University of South Florida women's soccer team held their annual Charity Soccer Clinic & women's college games to help raise scholarship funds - it was another great event and everyone had a fantastic day!

This is just the beginning.  Next up... VCU women's soccer (in conjunction with VCU's Center for Sports Leadership) host the annual "Make It Happen" 5K Run, in Richmond, April 14th!  Check out the link in the upper right corner to register!  Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
