The Nicole Megaloudis Foundation is proud to announce its partnership with the Eddie Pope Foundation for the 2012 LaCroix Youth Initiative, which begins this week.  This project will be completed in three phases:

1) A US-based team will travel to Haiti (February 2012) to work with LaCroix Mission Staff and their youth to create curriculum, help strengthen their soccer programming, host a tournament & soccer festival and assist in completing and building their soccer field.
2) The Haitian staff will travel to the US for training and continued education which will include their attendance at the Urban Soccer Symposium National Conference and internship opportunities (Summer 2012).
3) The US-based team will travel back to Haiti (November 2012) for continued support, training, and the further development of a Youth Center.

We are excited to be one of the partner organizations for this initiative, which also brings together a number of great organizations including Design Across Boundaries, Passing Hope, The Tony Sanneh Foundation and Soccer in the Streets. Nicole's dream was to help kids in Haiti; and we are working hard to make her dream become a reality.  Her spirit lives on in everything we do as we continue to "Make It Happen!"
